Pickering farm shop's success in Scarborough Business Awards
The team at a North Yorkshire farm shop and café are celebrating after winning a regional business award.
Pickering business, Cedarbarn Farm Shop and Café won the Independent Business category in the eighth Scarborough Excellence in Business Awards recently.
Cedarbarn co-founder, Karl Avison said: "We're honoured to have won this prestigious award, which is a testament to our great team."
Cedarbarn Farm Shop and Café faced competition from Escape Rooms Scarborough, Lindy Lou Artisan Cakes and The Farrier, Cayton. Co-founders Mandy and Karl Avison were presented with their trophy atan awards ceremony at The Scarborough Spa on Thursday, 1stDecember.
Organised by the Scarborough News, the Excellence in Business awards recognise and reward a cross-section of businesses and the vital role they play in the community and the economic success of the region.
Cedarbarn Farm Shop and Café began as a small PYO strawberries operation from acaravan 26 years ago andnow is a thriving farm shop and café that sources a large percentage of its produce from its own farm and a neighbouring farm supplemented with local suppliers.
