Sainsbury's and Starbucks celebrate opening of50thinstore Starbuckscafé in Folkestone

Sainsbury's and Starbucks have celebrated a significant milestone this week with the launch of their 50th Starbucks café in partnership together. Located in the Sainsbury's West Park Farm Superstore Folkestone, and operated by regional licensee Cobra Coffee, the new café welcomed its first customers this week.

This opening forms part of a wider expansion plan between Sainsbury's and Starbucks across the UK, with a view to open 30 new Starbucks cafés within Sainsbury's stores by the end of 2022. 

Local customers are invited to enjoy their favourite Starbucks® beverage and Starbucks® UK proudly serves a broad range of dairy alternative options for free. Customers can also try the new Sour Apple Frappuccino® Blended Beverage in store or to take away for increased convenience while they shop.

Starbucks has proven to be very popular with Sainsbury's customers and I know the local community in West Park Farm has been looking forward to the launch of its new Starbucks café this week.

Starbucks  offers a 25p discount to all customers who bring a reusable cup when purchasing a drink which forms part of Starbucks ongoing commitment to make reusability the only long-term option and reduce waste, as it works become a resource-positive company. The new store will also offer Too Good To Go - a leading surplus food app connecting customers to restaurants and stores that have unsold food.

The new store is conveniently located at Park Farm Retail Park, Park Farm Road, Folkestone and is open from 07:00 AM to 06:00 PM Monday to Saturday and from 10:00 AM to 04:00 PM on Sundays.
