TG0 drives innovation at Detroit auto show

TG0 demonstrates its patented software-enabled sensing surface tech at the Midwest event

London, UK – TG0 is exhibiting at this year’s North American International Detroit Auto Show (NAIAS). The dynamic, young London-based tech company is a hot topic in the auto industry thanks to its advancements with human-machine interface technology, including its patented technology that turns everyday conductive polymer materials into touch and pressure-sensitive surfaces.
TG0 provides a compelling proposition for those in the automotive industry. Using its patented methods, TG0 turns everyday industrial polymer material into touch and pressure-sensitive surfaces. The potential of software-enabled sensing surfaces for use in vehicle interiors is instantly visualisable, especially to those in the trade. Even better, NAIAS 2022 sees TG0 unveil its Demoset, which enables show attendees to interact physically with the likes of TG0’s capacitive touch sensing.

The TG0 Demoset features eight areas of interaction:

1.Press Button: touch and pressure-sensitive button with integrated LED
2.Multi-slide: textured 10-finger multi-touch sliding bar with LED illumination
3.Smart Key: push button with up/down/left/right navigation
4.Precision Dial: seamless rotary dial with push/pull/rotate/tile motion controls
5.Spin Donut: ergonomic radial slider centred around a through-hole
6.Soft Touchpad: deformable trackpad with localised pressure detection
7.Push/Pull Tab: Seamless 3-level push and pull control
8.Twist Control: 3D high precision deformation control

The Demoset means visitors to NAIAS can swiftly appreciate the vast potential of the TG0 platform and begin to plan how TG0 can enhance automotive designs. In addition to TG0’s ability to deliver an improved user experience, NAIAS visitors will also appreciate how, due to its ability to test new interactions and behaviours quickly, TG0 gets to market faster. A critical aspect of this sector. TG0 also brings lower production costs, more rapid assembly, and increased sustainability.

NAIAS opens to trade visitors on Wednesday, September 14, welcomes the public on Saturday, September 17, and runs through to Sunday, September 25. To meet the TG0 team and experience its revolutionary technology, visit booth PT510.
