 Vasque appoints MCS to promote the iconic US footwear brand in the UK 

Vasque, the iconic American outdoor footwear brand, has appointed leading outdoor specialist PR, Marketing & Event Management agency, MCS to launch and promote the brand and its product ranges to the UK outdoor trade and consumer markets.

Starting with immediate effect, MCS will be working closely with Vasque's UK agency, Northcol, handling all public relations activities in the UK, providing key support in the core outdoor market, as well as the wider lifestyle footwear market. MCS will also be providing Vasque with exhibition support at key trade shows. 

MCS has been tasked with building awareness of the brand's heritage and craftsmanship, its product range of shoes and boots suitable for various outdoor, climbing and lifestyle activities and ultimately stimulating retail partners, sell through and business growth. 

Vasque was founded in 1964 when founder William Sweasy travelled to Europe and witnessed a hiking craze sweeping the continent. He returned home determined to create purpose-built trail boots to mobilize Americans outdoors. In the decades that followed, Vasque steadily built a legacy of outdoor excellence.
