STICKY TOFFEE PUDDING GETS GREAT TASTE AWARD 2022

Parsley Box has received a highly regarded accolade from the Great Taste Awards for its Sticky Toffee Pudding - thanks to the thumbs up from a panel of food experts.

The awards test a range of different recipes with a panel of over 500 experts, who give honest, straightforward and impartial feedback .

Chefs, buyers, food writers and retailers agreed between them that the Parsley Box pudding deserved the highly respected ‘1 star' seal of approval - and placed it on the list of Great Taste foods.

Judges said: ‘It's a dinky little pudding. Light sponge, full on buttery flavour - and very moist. Plenty of sticky toffee sauce which is well balanced and not too sweet. The date is soft and fresh tasting. This is warm and comforting - a light acidity draws you away from the over sweetness.'

This classic British pudding is a favourite among Parsley Box customers, being conveniently available in single portions and pairing deliciously with the brand's Madagascan Vanilla Custard.

Perfect for a treat at any time, the award-winning recipe is available from the ready-meal retailer at just £1.99 - and is suitable for vegetarians.

Sarah Howarth, Parsley Box Product Development Manager, said she was delighted with the recognition achieved for this pudding.

‘We have been working hard to ensure all our products, including the range of light and indulgent sponges, are the best they can be.'

She added that the Sticky Toffee Pudding has been recently upgraded thanks to a secret, age-old recipe.

‘Our sponges continue to be of the highest quality thanks to our continuing partnership with our supplier who has been in business for over 100 years - so know a thing or two about puddings!'

Parsley Box also offer Apple Sponge, Cherry and Almond and Chocolate Pudding made to similar recipes and to the same exacting standards. New flavours are due to be released very soon so look out for our Jaffa Cake and Apple and Blackberry variations.
