Nominations for VfL's prestigious Awards for Excellence are now open
DO YOU KNOW a catering hero who creates delicious and nutritious vegan and vegetarian meals?
With VfL's Awards for Excellence in Vegetarian Care Catering entering their sixth year, now's the time to nominate them for a prestigious award.
2021's star-studded awards ceremony broadcast via Facebook and YouTube this January, hosted by popular MC, comedian and radio presenter, Matt Adlington - accompanied by a range of celebrity friends.
We're delighted to be returning to the Houses of Parliament for this year's ceremony, which will be held on the afternoon of Wednesday 23 November.
The categories for this year's awards are:
Veggie Care Chef of the Year
Veggie Wholesaler of the Year
Most Innovative Veggie Dish
Hospital Caterer of the Year
Special Recognition

- Launched in 2016, the Annual Awards highlight the importance of catering well for older vegetarians and vegans. Vegetarian for Life recently surveyed 1,000 care homes to find out how many residents are vegan or vegetarian. Since the survey was last commissioned in 2014, the number of vegans in residential care has increased by a staggering 167%!
