The PPS Business Lunch which
took place on 300322 organised by PPS
Chartered Accountants in Swindon has raised £450 to support
Swindon Downs Syndrome Group. The group ensures people with Down’s
Syndrome have the same opportunities as everyone else. That’s nearly £4,000 for
charities since the lunches started.
The Swindon Down’s Syndrome
Group is a volunteer led charity supporting people with Down’s syndrome and
their families in Swindon, Chippenham, Devizes and the surrounding area.
Supporting families from the moment a child is born through to old age.
Sally Holland, a partner at
the Swindon accountants, said: “It’s with great thanks to the business owners
who have made this such a special event that we are able to support this
charity. The attendees have shown everyone that together we can begin to make
positive changes. Positive change is very important to us and reflects the way
we see ourselves in the community and we are nearly at the £4k mark in terms of
our lunch fundraising.”
