A wealth of career opportunities with one of the region's leading providers of affordable homes are set to be highlighted at a special recruitment event in Stafford this month.

Representatives from across Housing Plus Group will be on hand at the Stafford Gatehouse Theatre on April 27 to offer advice about working for an organisation which has over 19,000 homes in Staffordshire and Shropshire and delivers a wide range of care services.

Between 11.00am and 2.00pm at the Gatehouse, anyone interested in a rewarding career with one of the area's leading not for profit employers can find out about current opportunities in building management and maintenance, office administration, customer services and care.

Karlene Harwood, head of people at Housing Plus Group, explained: "We believe that our employees are our greatest asset, and across the organisation we are committed to creating even more career opportunities for people in the communities we serve.

"All of our companies will be represented at this careers fair, including our social landlord Homes Plus, maintenance company Property Plus and Care Plus - which provides services to those who need extra help with their living needs."

"As well as opportunities within our maintenance teams there are also vacancies for a wide range of office and community-based roles. Colleagues, including members of our Neighbourhoods Team, will be around to talk about what it's like to work for an organisation that's committed to diversity and inclusion.

"They'll also be happy to answer any questions potential candidates may have and share first hand their experiences of being part of a team that's committed to making a positive difference to homes, lives and communities."

To attend the event, there is no need to book in advance and anyone looking for a fresh start with excellent long-term prospects supported by first-class training should just turn up on the day.
