Award-winning soprano Emma Nuule will perform
at Wolterton Hall charity event
Emma Nuule, the award-winning
soprano, has agreed to perform at the Glitterati Ball to be held at Wolterton
Hall on June 11, in aid of Norfolk-based charity Hospice Ethiopia UK. Emma will sing a mix of classical arias and
favourites from musicals to greet guests as they arrive.
“This is such a brilliant
charity, I’m really delighted to be able to support it,” she says. “And what a fantastic event it promises to
be!”
Emma joins an exciting
programme of entertainments including a chamber music recital, an auction of
promises, a champagne reception and a three-course buffet meal, a wine bar and a
live dance band – all happening in the stunning environs of Wolterton’s state
rooms.
“It’s just wonderful news that
Emma has agreed to perform for the Ball,” says Sue Mumford, chair of Hospice
Ethiopia UK. “We are so grateful to all
our entertainers, and to our army of volunteers, and to all the businesses and
supporters who are helping us stage the Glitterati Ball. It should be a brilliant evening and every penny
we raise will go towards this incredibly worthy cause.”
Tickets are just £65, or just
£50 for those taking advantage of the early bird discount, which is available
until April 15th. They can be
booked via Eventbrite (go to Eventbrite.co.uk and search Glitterati Ball or
The Glitterati Ball is being
held at Wolterton Hall by kind permission of owners Peter Sheppard and Keith
Day. Sir Norman Lamb is the patron of
the event.

Hospice Ethiopia UK is run entirely by
volunteers whose sole aim is to raise much-needed funds for Hospice
Ethiopia. Every penny raised goes to the
Hospice.
Ethiopia has a population of over 117 million
yet, until recently, Hospice Ethiopia was its only hospice. As well as looking after hundreds of
critically ill patients in Addis Ababa, Hospice Ethiopia is one of the leading
medical educational centres in the Horn of Africa, training doctors and nurses
in palliative care. Its work brings hope
to thousands of desperate people who have no-one else to support them. Despite being a centre of excellence, Hospice
Ethiopia relies entirely on charitable donations to survive.
