Affordable Art Exhibition in Aid of Ukraine

Ty Tan Art, Hay-on-Wye, 24 March to 23 April

Moved by current news reports of the war in Ukraine and those fleeing the conflict, Ty Tan Art, Hay on Wye, are hosting a month-long exhibition of affordable art by more than 80 well know regional artists in aid of the people of Ukraine.All are welcome at the Opening Event, which will be attended by many of the exhibiting artists, on Friday 25th March, 4 pm to 7pm.100% of funds raised through artwork sales goes directly to the Red Cross DEC Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal.

The exhibition includes painting, drawing, print, pastels, sculpture, photography, ceramics, stained glass and jewelleryby artists including:

Gallery Directors Menna Angharad and Jeremy Stiff say:"We have been overwhelmed by the generosity of the artists in donating their work to raise funds for the people of the Ukraine. Our initial hopes were that we might persuade 20 or 30 local artists to contribute, but such is the enthusiasm to assist in this crisis that we now have work by almost 90 artists. We look forward to welcoming art lovers to our eclectic fundraising exhibition."
