Take part in the Easter egg trail at Brogdale Collections

Brogdale Collections, the home of The National Fruit Collection, is inviting families to enjoy an Easter Trail in its beautiful orchards in Faversham this April.

From the 15th-17th April, families can book to take part in the trail, hunting among the blossoming fruit trees for Easter eggs. A trail map will guide adults and children around the orchards to find the eggs and solve the hidden word quiz on the way. Lucky visitors might even spot the Easter Bunny!

And if that isn't enough, there's also our Wildlife Garden and World Music Garden to discover too.

With tickets priced at just £15 for a family of four, the trail is open to people of all ages and is a lovely way to explore the outdoors and enjoy learning about nature.

Set in over 150 acres of farmland, Brogdale Collections is a charity organisation and home to one of the largest fruit collections in the world with more than 3,000 varieties of fruit trees including apples, pears, quinces, plums and cherries to name a few. Throughout the year, a huge range of activities take place providing fun, educational opportunities including guided tours, courses and festivals.

Sara Smile, operations manager at Brogdale, comments "Children and families love an Easter trail and we've got plenty to keep them occupied including maps, worksheets, and of course, the all-important chocolate!
"Look for the Easter Bunny in the Orchards too.
"It's a fun way to give them a break from screens, get out in the fresh air and learn about our wonderful natural heritage. And what better of time to do it than April when the trees are in blossom and the orchards are alive with birds and
insects?"

Tickets must be booked in advance and are priced at:
£3 per child (under 3s free)
£6 for adults (£5 concessions)
£15 for a family (two adults and two children).

Bookings can be made on Brogdale's website. Brogdale runs a number of other events throughout the year for all ages - details can be found here.
