Rational’s
cooking system can be installed exactly where it’s needed
Finding
ways to make the most out of limited space is one of the biggest challenges
facing professional kitchens. Whether it’s a new build or a refurbishment,
businesses are always looking for ways to increase the amount of room for
diners, to increase the potential for earning. This will often come at the
expense of kitchen space, but by choosing multifunctional cooking systems, like
the iVario Pro advanced bratt pan from Rational, smaller kitchens don’t have to
stop you from thinking big.
While multifunctionality is an increasingly important factor in foodservice equipment specification, it’s important to choose appliances that can adapt to the locations they will be used. This is why Rational offers a range of models of its iVario Pro cooking systems, which can be installed in a variety of ways in order to fit them in to smaller spaces.
The iVario Pro sets new standards for the professional kitchen. It replaces bratt pans, kettles, deep fryers and pressure cookers, and can boil, braise, fry and deep fry up to four times faster whilst using up to 40% less energy than conventional equipment. With the maintenance-free pressure-cooking option, it is up to 35% faster compared to cooking without pressure.
The iVario Pro is available in a range of versions suitable for different locations, with a range of installation options meaning that they can easily be adapted to the requirements of each space.
The
iVario Pro 2-S has two 25 litre pans, the Pro L has a single 100 litre pan and
the Pro XL a single 150 litre pan. In
addition, Rational offers the iVario 2-XS, a smaller unit that has two 17-litre
pans.
The
installation options allow them to be integrated into any kitchen. For example,
the iVario Pro L and Pro XL can be installed into a range block, mounted
directly onto a wall or can be provided with castors which make it easy to move
to new locations if required, as well as making it easier to clean the unit and
the surrounding area.
Meanwhile the iVario Pro 2-S or iVario 2-XS are ideal for smaller kitchens, as well as providing a flexible solution for larger kitchens needing more capacity. Each pan can be used independently, so for example while one pan is frying meat, the other can be used for boiling vegetables. Consistently great results are guaranteed by the intelligent iCookingSuite technology that controls every step of the cooking processes. Both the iVario Pro 2-S and Pro 2-XS have flexible installation options: they can be installed in a range block or placed on a table or worktop.
“Modern consumers are eager for new culinary experiences, and restaurants are constantly looking for ways to diversify their menus to meet this demand,” says Graham Kille, Technical Sales Director of Rational UK. “The ability of the iVario Pro to replace so many pieces of conventional equipment, while guaranteeing consistent results and reducing cooking times, makes them a great choice for businesses that want to make a big statement with a small amount of room. In addition, the flexibility afforded by the installation options gives even more room for manoeuvre in even the smallest kitchens.”
