Local man Anthony defies the odds and survives pancreatic cancer
It's currently Pancreatic Cancer Awareness Month and tomorrow, Thursday 18th November is World Pancreatic Cancer Day.

To celebrate our awareness month, the following locations in Wales are lighting up purple on these dates:

Pembrokeshire County Hall - 18th November
Cardiff castle - 18th November

We are also looking for your help in sharing the story attached of local man Anthony, who has defied the harrowing odds of pancreatic cancer sufferers to become a 5-year survivor.

When we started our awareness month in 2010, the 5-year survival rate was just 3%. Now, we are at almost 8% - proving that awareness raising does work!

We would love it if you'd be able to support us and share Anthony's story tomorrow and / or news of the Welsh landmarks turning purple for World Pancreatic Cancer Day.
