Steel Window Fittings launches 3D adjustable hinges for maximum security with good looks!

Even after centuries, the fashion for steel windows and doors continues apace - and not just for heritage and conservation, or refurbishment projects. Steel is specified in both old and new domestic and commercial buildings, both inside and outside, due to security, longevity, sustainability – and the all-important aesthetics.  As such, leading architectural ironmongery designers and manufacturers are developing modern ranges of technologically-advanced accessories to complement the modern steel profiles.

Steel Window Fittings is one of the UK’s leading ironmongery specialists and has recently launched an impressive range of high security, 3D adjustable hinges in solid natural polished brass.

The hinges - B300 3D is the adjustable lift off hinge while B310 3D is the extendable lift off hinge – allow for the full adjustment of a window or door. Each hinge has a +/- 2mm height adjustment and +/- 0.75 lateral and compression adjustment. The hinges come complete with fixing holes for M6 threads. There are two sizes so that different profile depths are accommodated; to include W20, W40, W50TB and Jansen Steel Arte.  For longevity, the hinges are rated for 100KG, 100,000 cycles.

The hinges feature security locking screws with concealed fixings and are available in left (LH) or right hand (RH) models.
