AMCO ANNOUNCE JV PARTNERSHIP WITH DESTOCK DUNKIRK TO FACILITATE ‘FREE' EUROPEAN DISTRIBUTION AND CUSTOMS CLEARANCES FOR UK AND EUROPEAN CUSTOMERS.

Destock SAS is a well-established warehouse and distribution business and customs clearance specialist based in Dunkirk, just 30 miles from Calais. AMCO has 30,000 square feet of bonded warehouse with 10 high dock levellers. This distribution and warehouse facility features state of the art management systems and benefits from exceptional travel networks, whilst handling non-perishable and perishable stock with access to chilled storage and distribution.

With immediate effect, AMCO can move export goods under bond from anywhere in the UK to France and then once cleared in France, move the goods onwards into the EU released for free distribution.

AMCO Destock as the importer, ensures all the applicable supporting customs documentation is in order, after making sure there are no restrictions and prohibitions concerning the goods in the shipment, which can be mixed and the Customs Authority then releases the goods into free circulation.

The purpose of the release for free circulation is to fulfil all import formalities so that the goods can be sold into the EU market like any product made in the EU. Release for free circulation thus confers on non-EU goods the status of EU goods.

In addition, Destock have a manned office in AMCO Park (Redditch), where they are managing customs clearances into the UK from the EU on behalf of their customers.

AMCO have already secured a contract with Nortek Global HVAC, managing the movement of Reznor heating units coming in from Mexico to Dunkirk, consolidating all their European products and then delivering the units under free circulation across the EU as well as providing customer support with 24-hour delivery of spare parts.

This resourcefulness speeds up deliveries across the EU and negates individual clearances as the goods are cleared straight into the EU. This latest part of AMCO's international storage, logistics and fulfilment network adds value, reduces paperwork and prevents bottlenecks.

Paul Andrews AMCO Sales Director comments. "Having now formalised our partnership with Destock in Dunkirk, and with AM-Trans Logistics in Poland, along with  groupage from our Hungarian hub, we now believe we have a fantastic proposition to support customers directly across the EU and the UK. We have increased our European transport fleet and have recently taken delivery of a fleet of new vans, including sleepers and mega trailers, which will operate out of Wroclaw.

He added. "In addition to this extension of AMCO's existing Hungarian and Polish

storage and logistics, AMCO can also now offer fulfilment and relabelling using their Destock partner's existing resources, ideal in these times of increased online shopping and retailing".

Destock SAS is a 100% subsidiary of HDP (Holding Desmet Pascal and was created in 1985 bringing together logistics activities at the Dunkirk 59640 (Petite-Synthe), Le Havre (76600), Marseille (13230) and Antwerp (Belgium) sites.

About CBW Resources T/A Amco

Intelligent Logistics Consultancy and Sourcing

CBW was established in 2010 as a consultancy practice helping logistics businesses overcome challenges, implementing processes and assisting with complex issues on product sourcing and importing from non-EU countries. CBW has predominantly been involved in the Automotive OEM and parts supply chain.

About Today's Amco - Reliable, Economic UK and International Logistics Services

Founded in 1983 as Amco Services (Motorsport), the business was originally focused on providing specialist Logistics, Shipping and Freight Services to Formula 1 teams and the Motorsport Industry. Amco Services, its sister company, was formed to handle all other general freight and transport.

As the two companies grew, it became evident that there were increasing levels of ‘cross-over' between the two businesses and in order to streamline and further improve services for customers, they consolidated to form Amco Services (International) Ltd.

The formation of a group structure in 2019 positioned Amco Group as a Third-Party Logistics (3PL) provider with the ability to deliver services of a 4PL with extra added value services. Amco Group had taken the 3PL model a step further with the successful launch and integration of Amco Tooling and Amco Packaging divisions.

Today, Amco is based in a flagship logistics and warehouse centre. Amco Park is 110,000 square feet general and customs bonded warehouse facility and logistics centre, built to a high specification on an impressive 10.7-acre site in Redditch close to exceptional travel networks for land, air and sea freight services.

Amco's highly experienced team specialises in the supply of high-quality UK, European and International Warehousing and Logistics services to the automotive, FMCG (fast moving consumer goods) and waste industries. These industries demand extremely high levels of service, accuracy, precision and multimodal logistics services vital to their operations.

Amco has sophisticated and robust systems in order to satisfy customers demands and to deliver a full, integrated range of logistics services to the highest standards possible. They aim to provide reliable, fast logistics services with fixed costs achieved through the use of ISO standard work processes, investment in technology and the employment of reliable distribution and warehousing systems.

Bringing ongoing efficiencies into supply chains and offering fully integrated services will be key aims for Amco as it has been for CBW, as will the extension of their customer-facing online systems, geo-fencing technology and detailed tracking systems, delivering even greater levels of information, control and efficiency to customers across the globe.

Amco has a clearly defined strategic plan for growth and diversification both organically and through acquisition going forward and the knowledge base that the new board and shareholders have will help to consolidate the current position and allow the business to further develop.
