Kent Psychologist Interview Opportunity: Domestic Violence Awareness Month

Good afternoon,

We are proud to be a Kent-based book agency and love to work with authors with connections to our home county. Author and psychologist Michael Padraig Acton typically divides his time between his home in Rochester, UK and his home in Florida, US but thanks to the pandemic scuppering travel plans, Michael hasn't returned to Kent for over a year. He flew into Kent yesterday and is available for media interviews for the next few weeks to support the release of his new book, the first in the Power of You series: Learning How To Leave - A Practical Guide To Stepping Away From Toxic & Narcissistic Relationships.

POTENTIAL TALKING POINTS

A picture containing text, screenshot, businesscardDescription automatically generatedMichael can talk through the nuts and bolts of HOW to leave a bad relationship (partner, family, friends, work) as well as:

  • Warning signs that you are in a dangerous relationship and what to do next
  • How to identify if you're in a relationship with a narcissist
  • Learning how and why to step away from negative relationships
  • How to heal after a bad relationship
  • What is a co-dependent and how do you know if you are one?
  • Why now is the ideal time to assess the relationships in your life
  • Patterns spotted over the past 30 years in toxic relationships

Looking ahead to Domestic Violence Awareness Month in October 2021 - Michael Padraig Acton is available for interviews and comments to support and build further understanding of domestic violence and abuse situations based on his very real, practical, hands-on experience of working with many victims over the past decades, including people who have been murdered as a result of domestic violence.

Since its release last month, Learning How To Leave has already helped hundreds of people as seen via the many 5 star reviews and comments left on Amazon, Goodreads and social media.

"I am an abuse Survivor and also work as an advocate so I have read many books on the subject; particularly on Narcissistic abuse as my abuser had NPD, but this was one of the most informative books I have read on the topic." -Goodreadsreview
