Gorillaztoday confirmed their epic return to the live stage witha free show for NHS workers and their families on Tuesday 10thAugustat London's The O2 arena. This very special show, to thank and recognise all NHS staff who continue to work tirelessly to keep us all safe, marks the reopening of the venue as well as the band's first live performance with an audience in over two years andtakes place the day before their scheduledsold-out gig on Wednesday 11thAugust 2021.All ticket holders will need to present a NHS COVID Pass on entry to gain access to the venue.Further information below.

Gorillaz drummer Russel Hobbs said:"Reap what you sow, y'know what I'm saying? We don't just want to say thank you, we want to do thank you too, because we care about the people who care for us."

Our first live show in over 500 days, with one of the UK's best bands playing to an audience made up of NHS staff and their families. Free event for NHS Staff - Gorillaz, Tuesday 10th August 2021 at The O2, London.

This is an event to thank and recognise NHS workers who have been and continue to work tirelessly to keep us safe.

All bookings must be made via https://www.theo2.co.uk/events/detail/gorillaz-nhs-showTickets are limited to 4 per person (the eligible NHS staff member and 3 guests) and will be availablefrom 12 noon on Friday 23rdJuly.

NHS workers who work in NHS hospitals in the United Kingdom will be eligible to apply for tickets. This includes but is not limited to doctors, nurses, porters, cleaners, support workers, paramedics, etc.

Ticket holders must bring their valid NHS ID or Primary Care Trust ID card (original format, no photocopies) to the event, or details of employment if NHS contract staff. Your ID must match the name on your ticket or admission will be refused. If you are allocated more than one ticket, your guest must be with you at the time of entry. 

If you secure tickets and you are no longer able to attend or you secure tickets in error as you are not NHS staff, please contact the ticket provider immediatelyhereto arrange for cancellation of these tickets to enable other NHS workers the opportunity to be allocated tickets.

COVID-19 Protocol from The O2 arena:

In order to continue to keep our visitors safe and provide the very best fan experience, we have implemented a number of important measures that will apply to this event. In line with the advice and guidance from UK and local Government, all ticket holders will be required to present an NHS COVID Pass on entry to The O2 arena in order to gain access to the event and to help us to reduce the risk of COVID-19.
