Jo Macfarlane left British Airways and used her First-Class training on customer service to grow her Luxury Candle Business from her kitchen table.
She now supplies Luxury Hotels across Scotland and London and runs candle making workshops from her studio. In lockdown she pivoted the business to create 3 online courses:
· Build Your Own Candle Business
· Candle Making Made Easy
· Advanced Candle Making
She is based in the stunning coastal village Anstruther, a favourite of HRH William and Kate, and draws her inspiration for scents from her Scottish heritage.
She taught over 300 people online during lockdown reaching attendees in 9 countries and published her book: Ask And Act, 10 inspirational tips on starting your own entrepreneurial journey.
She would like to inspire the recently grounded BA staff to take up new skills which they can learn and do from their kitchen table: Build Your Own Candle Business
