Q-Park are delighted to announce the successful installation of Electric Vehicle Charging Points to the Q-Park Sovereign Square car park in Central Leeds. This installation is part of a nationwide roll-out strategy of Electric Vehicle points across the entire portfolio. Q-Park Sovereign Square is located in the high-profile location above Bibi's Restaurant as well as being close to Leeds Train Station and Trinity Leeds Shopping Centre. The car park is ideal for commuters who work in the nearby offices on Sovereign Square itself. This excellent location is perfect for motorists who are visiting the city for both business and pleasure.
The Charging Points will be operated by Franklin Energy and complement the existing Charging Points across the Q-Park estate in Leeds. This installation was in response to customer demand for charging infrastructure at this particular parking facility. The new 22kwh Electric Vehicle charging points operate on a pay-as-you-go basis and are located on Level 2 of the car park.
Users wanting to sign up to use the charging point are required to download Franklin Energy's LiFe EV smart phone app that is available for free download in the Apple and Google Play store.
John Denton, Head of Sales and Marketing at Q-Park UK commented ‘It is fantastic to be increasing our electric charging infrastructure in Leeds.
