Dennons invests in local talent
Haslingden based office supplies company Dennons is looking forward to its 50th anniversary next year with a recruitment drive and support for small businesses locally.
Managing Director Christy Barker has announced that the firm is looking for new staff to help with anticipated growth into the larger corporate market around the UK in 2014. Christy, who recently took over at the helm of the family business, is seeking a graphic designer as well as additions to the sales team.
"We are a growing business with big plans for the future and we need good people to help us achieve our ambitions." said Christy. "The business community needs to work together for success and we know what it is like to build a business from scratch. My grandfather started Dennons and three generations of my family have built the firm to where it is today. With that in mind, we are proud to sponsor the micro-business category in the Rossendale Business Awards this year".
The award is for businesses with up to three employees, trading for longer than two years and the winner of this award will be, in the opinion of the judging panel, the most successful and sustainable Rossendale-based self-employed person or micro business nominated this year.
