Hashtag Press acquires "hilarious" middle-grade fiction novel by Sarah Morrell due for release in spring 2022
22ndMarch 2021: Publisher of the Year (People's Book Prize) female-led publishing house Hashtag Press Ltd (www.hashtagpress.co.uk) is to publish an as-yet-untitled, laugh-out-loud, middle-grade story with a mixed raced protagonist who can talk to animals. A young Dr Dolittle! Written by Yorkshire writer and criminologist Sarah Morrell (http://sarahmorrellauthor.co.uk/), the novel will be released in spring 2022.
Abiola Bello, Co-Director at Hashtag Press, says, "This is a fabulous book that brings humour and adventure. Right from the start it had me laughing out loud. I always say there are not enough books with mixed raced characters and Fleur is absolutely perfect. Sarah is an accomplished writer, having undertaken several writing courses and mentoring, and has self-published two picture books. We're proud to have her as part of the Hashtag family."
