New
wireless pagers helps create a safe, socially distanced queuing system
FEM is now supplying an advanced guest paging system from Pujadas, which can help restaurants to manage diners and queues safely, discreetly and efficiently, while maintaining social distancing. It’s simple to operate and competitively priced, making it an affordable, easy to install solution for all types of foodservice operation.
The basic guest paging system consists of a kit of ten alarm disks, a charging base and a transmitter. The disk are handed to diners on arrival, who can then wait safely in an external area until their food is prepared. Once ready, staff simply type the number of the disk into the transmitter. The alarm disk lights up, vibrates and emits a sound, alerting guests that their table is ready or their takeaway can be collected. It has a maximum operating range of 800 metres outside, or 60 metres in closed rooms.
The system can help in the creation of safe queuing systems for a range of businesses, from dine-in restaurants, speeding up table rotation and reducing any downtime, to takeaway locations, allowing customers to wait at a safe distance while allowing for a speedy response to any orders.
The system can easily be upscaled, with the transmitter being able to communicate with up to 999 separate alarm disks. The disks have a long battery life and automatically recharge when returned to the base. The disks can also be customised, for example with a logo or promotional message.
The basic system with base unit, transmitter and ten disks, has a list price of £780 ex. VAT
