THE ALCHEMIST PARTNER WITH LIQUIDNANO TO PROTECT STAFF AND CUSTOMERS FROM CORONAVIRUS

Award winning mixologist chain, The Alchemist, has partnered with LiquidNano to ensure punters will be able to enjoy the festive period safely.  

Customers have returned to pubs and bars in England, after hospitality venues opened their doors at the end of a four-week national lockdown.

A three-tiered system of Covid-19 rules has now come into force in the nation, with
pubs and bars across the country opening their doors once more after spending the lockdown period taking precautionary disinfectant measures to safeguard staff and customers. 

One UK company that's at the frontline of this charge is LiquidNano, a leader in emerging nano-scale technologies.

Established in 2016, the innovative brand has developedaprotective nano coating which has already been shown to eradicate a coronavirus that is genetically and structurally very similar to the pathogen that caused the pandemic.  

As part of the partnership with The Alchemist, LiquidNano will supply their venues with both the Steri-Wipe product - which uses biocides to kill germs and has been proven to be effective against over 180 types of bacteria including coronavirus - and their reusable facemasks, which are made from a fabric that has been treated with a nano-scale anti-microbial coating.
 

After meeting with LiquidNano, Hannah Plumb the Alchemist's Culture and Talent Director, decided to stock their disinfectant products across its 19 sites nationwide. 

Mrs Plumb said: "Implementing LiquidNano into the venues has been great for both the teams and our guests. The teams feel safer knowing we are providing a product for them which actively repels bacteria and viruses for a sustained period.

"Although we have carried on to sanitise our equipment visibly and often for our guest, the teams have used them on their phone, host equipment and the hand-held iPads used for service. Having the info about the science behind the wipes has enable us to provide a clear response to our guests, who may have been unsure of the procedures we have in place.  

"It's made a few hard months, that bit easier!" 

Feedback from The Alchemist's staff has been overwhelmingly positive with 100% of staff at 19 venues agreeing that having the steri-wipes on site made them feel safer.
