Winn Solicitors is delighted to announce that Christian Butler has been appointed to the role of Head of Family Law, as part of the company's expansion into new sectors of law due to launch next year.

Christian brings a wealth of family law expertise to Winn Solicitors, most recently at Silk Family Law, is recognised as a Rising Star in Family Law in the recent Legal 500 rankings and is a ranked individual "to watch" in the recent Chambers and Partners rankings.

His addition to the senior management team will see Christian utilise extensive experience and a dynamic approach to spearhead Winn Solicitors' introduction into the family law sector.

Christian advises clients on all aspects of family and matrimonial law.  He regularly acts for high net worth clients in disputes arising from divorce and separation involving complex assets, pensions and property portfolios, as well as advising in relation to children matters.

He also has expertise in pre and post-nuptial agreements emergency injunctions and protective orders, along with assisting unmarried couples to resolve their financial disputes.

Appreciated by clients for his personable and pragmatic approach, Christian has a reputation for professionalism, compassion and dedication to pursuing the best outcome.  Chambers and Partners have recently quoted one of his clients who commented "He is so thoughtful, thorough and just never stops working - you feel you are his only client."

He is Chair of the Young Resolution (YRES) Committee in the North East of England - part of the national organisation whose members promote a non-confrontational approach to divorce - and regularly provides expert commentary on family law issues which appear in the press.

Christian brings with him his secretary, Sally Bentley, with a combined aim to lead Winn Solicitors' expansion into family law.
