Advantech Upgrades Industrial Motherboards With 10th Gen. Intel® Core™ Processors

A wide range of its platforms — including industrial ATX motherboards, single-board computers (SBCs), and industrial server boards — have been upgraded with 10th Gen. Intel® Core™ i9/i7/i5/i3 and Xeon® W processors. By increasing the number of cores from 8 to 10, these processors deliver a 31% increased integer multi-tasking performance for computing-intensive applications. When combined with faster memory read/write capabilities, these new processors are ideal for powering intelligent systems aimed at deep learning AI, video surveillance, industrial automation and other diverse applications.

10th Gen. Intel® Core™ Technology Improves Intelligent Systems

Advantech has upgraded its intelligent system products with 10th Gen. Intel® Core™ i9/i7/i5/i3 and Xeon® W processors. The upgraded systems include — PCE-5132, PCE-5032, and PCE-7132 series of industrial-grade PICMG 1.3 SBCs; the AIMB-787 and 707 series of ATX motherboards; and the ASMB-587 and ASMB-787 series of server-grade motherboards.

In addition to Intel's latest processors, the PCE-5132, PCE-5032, and PCE-7132 series industrial-grade PICMG 1.3 SBCs feature multiple backplanes, diverse I/O, and various expansion slots which deliver unrivaled flexibility and performance.

Advantech's upgraded ATX motherboards, the AIMB-787 and AIMB-707 series, support 7x expansion slots and a PCIe x4 M.2 socket. With the inclusion of the latest Intel® Core™ processors, these motherboards offer high-performance computing and a variety of functionalities aimed at demanding industrial applications that require seamless upgrades, long-term support, proven reliability, and strict revision control.

Additionally, the ASMB-587 and ASMB-787 series of server-grade motherboards now feature 10th Gen. Intel® Core™/Xeon® W-1200 processors, and up to 128 GB of DDR4 memory. They further offer DVI-D, VGA, and HDMI 2.0 connectors to support triple displays. These solutions deliver increased computing power to high-performance industrial applications.
