New posh nosh launches for pandemic's pampered pets

A new business specialising in high quality ‘guilt free' dog treats has launched with a mission to give something back to dog charities across the globe.

Nibble and Nosh use only 100% natural ingredients and the choicest cuts. They are also wheat free and low in calories and are delivered to the door on a subscription basis with no contract.

Each month, the nation's pampered pooches can receive 8 high quality treats, a toy, poo bags and a surprise gift. Meanwhile, less fortunate dogs will benefit too, with a percentage of sales from each box going to Nibble and Nosh's list of dog-friendly charities.

The first two beneficiaries are Many Tears Rescue and DoodleAid, a UK based registered charity that assists and supports the rehoming of poodle cross dogs (Doodles).

As a result of lockdown, many dogs are certainly enjoying the extra attention, the belly rubs and snuggle time, as well as the (several) daily walks. Meanwhile treating them without overindulging them or harming their health, whilst also giving back to our less fortunate furry friends is something Julie Woodard, owner of Nibble and Nosh was keen to address;

‘Launching in the current situation has been very challenging but actually seemed more important than ever. We're bombarded  with heart-breaking news, wary of strangers getting too close and our loved ones are now on the other side of a phone screen, not the room.

‘There is no questioning the value of owning a pet, particularly during this lockdown period and our relationships with our dogs have become even closer still as we take our daily exercise together. Their relentless love and affection is a treasure to behold, and the positive effects it has on our mental health is immeasurable.

‘We wanted to ensure that when we do treat our dogs, they are getting the highest quality treats available and that we are also doing our bit for other dogs that are really having a far more challenging life than perhaps the more pampered pooches are enjoying. We're proud of our products and even more proud to be giving something back to these great causes in these most difficult of times.'

The Nibble and Nosh treats include; beef and sweet potato twists, beef, duck and salmon sushi rolls, chicken and liver fillets and even duck jerky.

The boxes range from a ‘Lite Box' at just £9.95 up to the ‘Luxury Family Box' at £37.95 all on a one-time or subscription purchase basis.
