IT IS TIME FOR A PICNIC IN THE PARK!

Following the government's new guidance on spending time outdoors, which took effect from the 13th May, people in England are allowed to spend more time outdoors and visit parks and beaches to have a picnic. This will provide a very welcome change for lots of families, especially with the weather forecast this week, being able to enjoy time in the sunshine whilst observing socially distancing guidelines.

Kelty, the leading brand of outdoor and camping equipment has a selection of versatile products that can be used in your back garden, courtyard or picnic in the park, and when restrictions are finally lifted for that so longed for family camping holiday.

The Kelty BFF Bestie Blanket, SRP £50, is the best base for your picnic, with cosy and soft material on the top and a rugged and water-resistant material underneath, it has been designed to keep the top surface dry even if the grass is damp. This versatile blanket is not only ideal for a picnic, but also for festivals, days at the beach or just to wrap around you during chilly nights outdoors.

If you prefer not to sit on the ground, the Kelty Lowdown Chair, SRP £50, is perfect to take to the park, and can also be used for fishing, camping or chilling around in your garden. A lower base means you're not towering over the picnic and a relaxed, slightly reclined design means you're about to get your fill of chill. It scores extra points for a durable steel frame; insulated drink holders and a roll-tote carry bag.
