New X400 low-level platform added to Instant UpRight range

Instant UpRight, a global provider of Instant Aluminium Tower Systems and aerial work platforms, has expanded its low-level platform range with the addition of the X400 and X400S adjustable work platforms.

The X400 is simple to operate, is extremely compact and manoeuvrable and provides an alternative to ladders, steps  and podiums with a safe and smart method of working. The X400S is a version with stabilisers. There is also a X400WS, which has stabilisers and can be weighted.

Gas spring-powered, its simple, robust design makes it free from hydraulic oil with minimum maintenance. An automatic braking system is one of a number of important safety features, controlling speed and reducing operator misuse.

Both the X400 and X400S have a stowed height of just 1.97m so will fit through a standard single doorway, allowing easy access for interior maintenance. At 1.19m long and 0.72m wide, it can be easily stored on site, ready for use at any time.

With no noise or pollution, the platform is environmentally friendly so can be used for numerous low-level applications.

For rental fleets, the X400 work platforms represent a good return on investment opportunity with a lower financial output than small electric powered access but with an attractive rental rate achievable and little or no maintenance costs.

Paint options allow for individual company branding. Handy add-on accessories, such as a tool tray, make this a very useable compact platform

The X400 is also a perfect entry-level platform for small independent contractors looking to own access platforms without having to outlay large sums - while having a comfortable and safety-compliant alternative to podiums, ladders and steps

In 2019, Instant UpRight re-entered the AWP market with a range of low-level electrical scissor, mast and push-around lifts. The company will continue to expand its range of powered and non-powered access platforms which will be stocked and supported from its European warehouse and distribution hub in Venlo, Netherlands.

The Instant UpRight AWP range

The Instant UpRight AWP range includes: the 6m MX1330 push-around scissor lift; 6.4m MX1430 self-propelled electric mini scissor lift; 7.8m MX1930 self-propelled electric lift; 10m X2632 self-propelled electric scissor lift; and the 12m ML3330 push-around mast lift.  Its latest introduction is the X400/X400S adjustable work platform with up to 4m of working height.
