10 February 2020

Midlands-based property developer Elevate Property Group has announced that over 40% of its Victoria Point development in Ashford has been sold ahead of completion in autumn 2020, with Phase I fully sold out and Phase II selling fast.

Located just opposite the Curious Brewery restaurant and bar, this £55M residential development includes 216 studios, one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments, with prices ranging from £142,500 to £355,000. Victoria Point includes a large courtyard garden, a Super Lounge and concierge service, with most apartments benefiting from balconies or terraces.

Young professionals make up a strong percentage of purchasers, being attracted by the incredible features and luxury specification of the apartments, as well as the quick links to London. Victoria Point is only 200 metres from the Ashford International train station, with regular HS1 services to London in 38 minutes, making it the perfect location for young couples looking for affordable housing in close proximity to the capital.

Tom Bryant, Head of Residential Development Sales for Savills in the South East, explained: "As we move closer to completion this autumn, we are beginning to seemore owner occupiers, in particular young professionals, seeing the benefits of living at Victoria Point."

With London only 38 minutes by train and regeneration plans successfully implemented by Ashford Borough Council, Ashford is one of the top towns for commuters, who will enjoy the proximity to the countryside and the seaside, as well as a buzzing town centre.

David Hofton, sales and marketing director of Elevate Property Group, said: "Ashford's excellent transport links, plus the ongoing regeneration of the area, make it a very attractive town to live in.

"During 2019, we saw the Ashford Designer Outlet expansion completed and the opening of Junction 10A on the M20, with continuing developments at Ashford College, Elwick Place and Connect 38 in the Ashford Commercial Quarter."

Add the new Curious Brewery, home to Chapel Down's award-winning beer business, The Coachworks, a mixed-use development featuring a food and drink destination, and regular events hosted in the town centre, this location represents a unique opportunity for people looking to get on the property ladder.
