Accident management and rehabilitation specialist, Winn Group, is delighted to announce the appointment of Marta Fernández Varona to the role of Group Finance Director beginning on Monday 3rd February.

Marta brings more than 30 years of professional financial expertise to the group, most recently working with Hays Travel, the biggest independent travel agency in the UK, as Group Finance Director for 6 years.

Before that, Marta held senior strategic financial roles in a variety of large international companies, managing the finance function through all business stages from start-ups to mergers, acquisitions and divestments. Marta has industry experience within rented commercial vehicles, telecoms, packaging and mineral extraction among others.

Chris Birkett, Winn Group Chief Operating Officer, announced Marta’s appointment to Winn Group saying,

“I am pleased to welcome Marta to the Group. Marta brings a wealth of experience and a strong track record as a Finance Director, latterly playing a key role in
