Lord & Lady Gin Cocktails for Valentine's from the author of How to Drink Gin

Hello!
We know it's still three months away but we've been working with Gin Expert, Sue Telford, on the launch of her new book 'How to Drink Gin' (RedDoor Press, October 2019) and she has created these two recipes that seem ideal for Valentine's Day. So, we thought we'd share and if you'd like to see any other ideas, for Christmas, Mother's Day, any old day of the week (!) just let us know.
We can send you a copy of the new book, connect you with Sue (who lives in Norfolk) for interviews and editorial, and there's more info in the online press folder and the press release below: http://bit.ly/HowToDrinkGinPR
Cheers,

London, United Kingdom, 21stNovember 2019: Valentine's Day is the most romantic day of the year... apparently! It's also exactly three months away! Whatever your relationship status, it's a great excuse to mix it up with a gin cocktail and have a fun night in with the love of your life or a group of friends!

This is more than just finding the perfect gin to your tonic.Sue Telford, author of How To Drink Gin: Make It, Mix It, Master It (RedDoor Press, October 2019) says: "Fall in love on Valentine's Day with this duo of delectable gin cocktails. Champagne might be the traditional choice and have more fizz but this Valentine's Day mix the unexpected with a gin cocktail that will go straight to your loved one's heart."

Sue has crafted these cocktails especially for Valentine's Day (for media use, not taken from the book). The expert mixologist whipped them up in her kitchen, experimenting with ingredients and tastes until she found the ultimate blend.

Legend has it that Lady Godiva got all the attention but these cocktails redress the balance. Make a Lord Godiva for the special someone in your life. Enjoy the thick and creamy cocktails that are the ultimate in luxury. Find many more recipes - as well as a fabulous introductory guide to all things gin - in Sue's new book:https://www.waterstones.com/book/the-how-to-drink-gin/sue-telford/9781913062002.

A picture containing person, indoor, wall, womanDescription automatically generatedSue Telford is a Norfolk-based writer, gin blogger and cocktail photographer with a love of craft gin, cocktails and fresh flavours. In 2017, inspired by the craft gin revolution, she bought a tiny 4L air still, got herself licensed by HMRC, and effectively turned her little 9ft by 9ft kitchen into a weekend gin distillery where she set about distilling with enthusiasm. At the time, she knew nothing about distilling, although she was a keen home cook and loved experimenting with flavours. She quickly learned through a lot of trial and error and internet research. And she is still learning. Her cocktail photographs with their distinctive style have been featured by gin distillers.

Sue has two teenage children and five years ago went through treatment for breast cancer and sepsis. When she turned 50, Sue decided to hire a DSLR camera, start a blog about gin, and turn her life-long love of all things creative (and gin!), into a passion project. Fast-forward two years and How To Drink Gin is born!
