With its grand official opening by the Mayor of Gedling on Friday 22ndNovember 2019, an array of local talent continues to work hard Seven Mile House in Papplewick. The local landmark is to become the new headquarters forDSR Tax Claims Ltd, a firm of tax preparation specialists serving clients nationwide. In order to preserve this piece of local history whilst also meeting the needs of a 21stcentury business, Managing Director David Redfern has gathered a team of the best local businesses and tradespeople to work together to create a truly amazing workspace.
In order to maximise the space for a thriving and growingbusinesswhilst retaining the character and charm of the building, Redfern was insistent that the furniture and fittings were created to order, stating "Due to the character and age of Seven Mile House, it was essential to the refurbishment that the furniture and fittings were created especially for the space so that space was maximised whilst ensuring that our business will able to flourish and grow further. Willow Joinery and Shopfitting have a great reputation which precedes them so I was delighted that they joined the refurbishment team and put their talents to creating a unique office space for DSR Tax Claims".
Willow Joinery and Shopfitting Ltd, based in Moorgreen, Nottingham, have been providing bespoke furniture and fittings since 2007. Redfern stated "Our design brief for the furniture and fittings was that they would be as impressive as the exterior of the structure whilst ensuring that they retained the full functionality required for a thriving business as well as maximising the space in this unique building. I am delighted that Neil and all at Willow Joinery and Shopfitting were able to not just meet my brief but exceed my expectations by creating and installing bespoke office furniture which has the wow factor".
The official opening of Seven Mile House takes place this Friday, 22ndNovember 2019 at 3pm and will be attended by the Mayor of Gedling and will celebrate the wealth of local talent involved in the refurbishment project. It will be followed by a drinks reception for guests.
