Recent reports from the Scale Up Institute have highlighted a record number of Scale-Up businesses enjoying periods of rapid but sustainable growth. The latest figures available suggest a 3.7% increase on previous recorded figures. These Scale-Up companies have enjoyed a growth in turnover and/or employment of over 20% over a three-year period.
Scale-Ups are contributing £1.3 trillion in combined turnover, a rise of over 34% since 2016. However, almost two-thirds of social scale-ups struggle to find the right amount of finance and state that as an impediment to potential growth.
