It's crystal clear - customer service matters as Evander Glazing and Locks makes shortlist for Business Awards


Judges in the Norfolk Business Awards have selected the long-standing Norwich-based glazing and security business,  Evander, as a finalist for the Customer Care award.

Every aspect of the customer experience that drives customer loyalty and better commercial performance was scrutinised by the judges, who have chosen a shortlist of businesses which demonstrated how they exemplify outstanding customer service, consistently delivered at the highest level, by a customer focused team.

Evander Glazing and Locks Limited, part of the VPS Group, is the UK's leading provider of responsive, pre-planned and emergency home & commercial insurance glazing solutions. Their interaction with customers often begins as the result of a distressing incident, such as a break-in or a broken window. They can be the first responders on site, so they often see customers at their most vulnerable, and the judge's panel were impressed by Evander's staff training to ensure the way they interact with customers, even down to the appearance of the engineers, the voice manner, the time spent on site and the time taken to reassure the customer, recognised that these have a profound impact on the customer experience.

In 2018 Evander engineers visited over 125,000 properties from 19 depot locations based across the UK.

Operating from their headquarters in Norfolk for 35 years, Evander impressed the panel by a raft of customer care initiatives that has helped the company gain an enviable 9.3 out of 10 score on Trust Pilot from over 1500 customer reviews. As a result, Evander is best in class across the glazing community, with major competitors falling short in comparison.

The winners will be announced at a gala Awards ceremony at the Norwich Showground Arena, on November 21st, with the actor James Nesbitt hosting the event.

Evander have already been shortlisted for several awards in 2019, including the Insurance Times Claims Awards for Customer Service Solution of the Year, and the John Connell Noise Abatement Awards for their noise insulation project for Highways England.         T: 0345 145 0130
