NEW RECRUITMENT SITE TO OFFER JOB ADVERTS FOR £750 FLAT FEE AND PAY ONLY WHEN YOU RECRUIT

A new recruitment site has been launched that is set to dramatically reduce the cost of recruiting accountants with the backing of the UK200Group.

NewlyQualified has been set up by people who themselves had experienced high recruitment costs based on a percentage of salary, and felt they did not get the service that justified those excessive fees.

Chief executive Simon Ellin has worked in both the public and private sector for many years, while Stephen Bailey is a highly experienced accountant. Both have recruited newly qualified talent over their careers and been frustrated with the experience.

The site, www.newlyqualified.co.uk will focus on identifying and recruiting fresh new talent. There is no cost for candidates to register, while employers will only pay the £750 flat fee once each vacancy has been filled.

There will be no additional costs such as sponsored or promoted roles.

Simon Ellin said: "We know how frustrating it can be paying high fees to a recruitment agency, or having to pay much more than the initially advertised cost to get your vacancy seen on other recruitment sites.

"With NewlyQualified, you will only ever pay a flat fee of £750 once each vacancy is filled. We also promise that once you have filled the vacancy, we will not continue to email your new employee with other offers. We haven't liked it when we have used an agency, then a year down the line they recommend the employee to someone else. That isn't what we want to do, so you can be assured you won't be paying high fees only for the same agency to poach them for someone else later on.

"Ensure all your vacancies are listed on NewlyQualified to find great candidates at a low cost."

NewlyQualified will initially offer accountancy candidates at different levels of qualification from apprentices to those with AAT, CIMA, ACCA and CA (ICAEW and ICAS) qualifications. Recruitment of newly qualified lawyers will follow soon.

UK200Group chief executive Declan Swan said: "I am delighted that the UK200Group have appointed recruitment company, NewlyQualified, to be our new business partner with a focus on helping our members attract candidates with the potential to work in our member's firms.

"The great thing about NewlyQualified is that they work on a no-win no-fee basis and they therefore offer a risk-free option when recruiting.

"We are also pleased that they buy into the values of the Group and are committed to working transparently and collaboratively.

"We warmly welcome the NewlyQualified team and working with them to support our members in the months and years to come."
