AUTO MAQUINARIA APPOINTED NEW HYSTER® DEALER FOR ANGOLA
 
Auto Maquinaria has been appointed as the new dealer for Hyster® lift trucks in Angola.  
 
The company, which is based in Luanda, has been distributing equipment in Angola since 2005, with a team of 60 skilled employees, including a dedicated department for Chinese sales and after sales.  It is the exclusive distributor for Volvo Construction Equipment in Angola and will offer Hyster® lift trucks alongside products such as SDLG loaders and excavators, Manitowoc cranes and Epiroc drilling equipment.
 
“We work with premium brands and aim to offer premium support to our customers,” says Ricardo Teixeira, Managing Director for Auto Maquinaria.  “By supplying the Hyster® range, we will now be able to meet the high demand for quality equipment and strong service support that we see in the logistics industry.”
 
Auto Maquinaria has a large existing customer base in mining and construction operations and is part of Portuguese transport, construction and agriculture equipment supplier Nors Group. Established 85 years ago, Nors is present in 17 countries, employing 3,700 people across 4 continents, with a turnover of around 1.4 million Euros.
