MAD-HR Nominated for National SME award for high growth

MAD-HR Receive National Nomination for ‘High Business Growth'

Suffolk based HR specialists MAD-HR invited to National SME awards at Wembley Stadium after nomination for ‘High Growth'.

Suffolk-born business MAD-HR are thrilled to announce their nomination for ‘High-Growth Business of the Year' at the National SME Business Awards taking place in December at Wembley Stadium. This is a prestigious awards ceremony, with over 600 guests expected from some of the top businesses across the country. With East Anglia named as home to four of the fastest growing economies in the UK, it's no wonder that MAD-HR has gone from strength to strength over the last 5 years. Their accolades to date include being named as one of the East Anglia Daily Times Future50 businesses for 2019.

MAD-HR is the brainchild of Carole Burman, who founded the company in 2014 after having worked in the HR industry for over twenty-five years for companies such as Marshall Motor Group, helping them increase their sales from £250m to just under £1bn in five years. When asked what this award nomination meant to her, Carole stated; "I feel honoured that the work we are doing has been recognised as good enough for a nomination in the High Growth category, and hope that the nomination means we will continue to increase our client base with our "Make A Difference" brand of HR."

One of the contributing factors to MAD-HR's success has been the ‘Online HR-Toolkit'. The toolkit provides a cost-effective solution that aims to help SME's cut costs on an in-house HR team by enabling small business owners to self-manage almost any HR situation they encounter in the workplace. When asked about the inspiration behind the idea of the Online Toolkit, Carole stated:

"Being able to offer commercial HR support for small businesses was the very first thing that I was keen to be able to offer when I launched the business back in 2014. We are now in the throes of developing Toolkit 2.0 which will offer great benefits to our existing and new toolkit subscribers when we launch later this year. We pride ourselves on using technology to support our business and that of our clients, as we see that this can produce multiple benefits including saving cost, time, energy and resource."

The National SME Awards will take place at Wembley Stadium on Friday 6thDecember. For information regarding the HR-Toolkit, Ad-Hoc HR support or training, please get in touch with MAD-HR on 01473 360160.
