Cost-effective HYDROS 21 Conductivity, Temperature and Depth Sensor self-corrects for atmospheric pressure

Labcell, the UK distributor for METER Group, is introducing the cost-effectiveHYDROS 21 Conductivity, Temperature and Depth Sensorfor applications such as monitoring groundwater contamination and wastewater, desalination programmes, measuring saltwater intrusion, and monitoring surface water. This compact, robust yet accurate sensor self-corrects for atmospheric pressure, so there is no need for a separate barometric pressure sensor.

Measuring just 34 mm diameter by 90 mm long, the head incorporates sensors for EC (electrical conductivity), temperature and depth. Measurement ranges are: conductivities of 0 to 120 dS/m; depths from 0 to 10 m; and temperatures from 0 to 50°C.

When the HYDROS 21 Conductivity, Temperature and Depth Sensor is connected to a METERZL6 Data-logger, users can access data remotely in near-real-time via the ZENTRA Cloud and any web browser. Thanks to the plug-and-play compatibility with the ZL6 Data-logger, the HYDROS 21 is extremely quick and simple to set up.

A key benefit of the HYDROS 21 is that much of the complexity is contained within the ZL6 Data-logger rather than the sensor; this reduces the cost of the individual sensors significantly, making it feasible to install multiple sensors and gain a better understanding of water conditions, rather than compromising with single-point measurements.

Labcell is the sole UK distributor for the METER range of instrumentation. Download detailed data sheets directly from Labcell's website atwww.labcell.comor contact the company with specific enquiries or to request a demonstration by telephone on +44 (0)1420 568150 or emailmail@labcell.com.
