Go-Now Air Charter Specialist CharterSync Shortlisted for FTA Award

Go-Now Air Charter Specialist CharterSync Shortlisted for FTA Award
Press release

12 August 2019

With just over one month since its launch, London based start-up CharterSync has already gained recognition in the logistics industry through being short-listed for Air Business of the Year in the Freight Transport Association (FTA) Logistics awards.

The CharterSync platform is an online Go-Now air charter booking system which adds convenience, speed and transparency to booking time-critical air charters.  During the first week of operation CharterSync has worked with 15 air charter operators, delivering 16 charter flights.

Commenting on being short-listed for the award, CharterSync Co-founder, Ed Gillett said, "Recognition from the FTA is a fantastic acknowledgment of how far CharterSync has come in such a short space of time. While we have only been operating for a short while it has taken CharterSync a long time to get to this point. So, being recognised by the FTA, the leading logistics body, at this early stage is a great achievement for us."

The FTA Logistics Awards, now in its third year, celebrates companies and individuals that have made a significant contribution to the logistics and supply industry and have become acknowledged as the ultimate celebration of one of the UK's most important industry sectors.

David Wells, Chief Executive of FTA, the only business organisation representing all of the logistics industry, commented: "These finalists represent the best of the best' of our sector; the businesses and individuals determined to keep Britain trading, both at home and overseas. They have been selected for their outstanding commitment, knowledge and expertise, and represent a wide range of UK companies across transport modes and business sectors. With a record number of entrants this year, each shortlisted business had to fight off very tough competition to secure their place in the final line up, and those who scoop the top prizes will be truly at the top of their business games. They should be justly proud of the contribution they are making to both the logistics sector and wider UK economy."

The FTA Logistics Awards 2019 takes place this year on Thursday 24 October at the Park Plaza Westminster Bridge where the award winners will be announced and celebrated.
