Ryedale rapeseed oil producers expand the team

 

A farm-based business in Thixendale has bolstered its 13 strong team with the appointment of an additional member of staff.

 

The new position ofDispatch and Stock Control Managerat Yorkshire Rapeseed Oil seesKhaled Abdulganitake on a full-time role at the artisan producer as he assists the production team at the farm based business.

 

MrAbdulgani, who lives in York, joined from alcohol free beer brand, Cipher and is responsible for all elements of dispatch and stock control for the Yorkshire Rapeseed Oil and Charlie and Ivy's range of oils, dressings and dippers.

 

Adam Palmer, who founded the business with wife Jennie in 2008, said: "We're delighted to welcome Khaled to the team here at North Breckenholme Farm as he brings with him a wealth of commercial experience and knowledge."

 

MrAbdulganiis thrilled to be joining the business at such an exciting time and said:

"11 years in, the business is making great strides towards its future goals and I'm proud to be a part of it.

 

"The team are just fantastic and I love the variety of work and the amazingly scenic commute."

 

When he's not working, MrAbdulgani enjoyscooking, jogging, hiking and relaxing in the sun "preferably next to a bbq - ideally on a beach."

 

Yorkshire Rapeseed Oil was established in 2008 by Adam and Jennie Palmer on their farm in the heart of the Yorkshire Wolds. They produce a range ofoils, dressings and mayonnaisebased on their award-winning rapeseed oil that is produced exclusively from home. Their Yorkshire Wolds grown rapeis pressed, blended, bottled and labelled on the family farm.
