PRESS RELEASE
Release date: 07
MAY 2013
New finance company provides firms with the
key to unlocking potential
The launch
of a new Midlands based financial support company will provide companies with
the key to unlocking business potential at a time when access to finance
continues to be limited by poor economic growth.
Cranfield
Business Finance (CBF) is part of the Cranfield group of companies and the
sister company of leading Midlands insolvency firm, Cranfield Business
Recovery. The company has been set up to help growing companies access
financial support to fuel growth, through expansion plans and business
development and offers a range of core services including commercial and
investment mortgages, development finance and asset finance.
Patrick Murtagh,
director at Cranfield Business Recovery has been joined in the new venture by
co director Alan Jones who brings with him 25 years experience in both
commercial and corporate banking.
Patrick
says: “Cranfield Business Finance offers
a unique service for businesses seeking financial support, focusing on
understanding the overall business requirements before searching the market to
find the right relationship and solution to meet client’s needs.”
One such
example of this is the company’s ability to work with clients seeking a better
understanding of the working relationship with existing fund providers or
indeed seeking to refinance with alternate lenders. Recent years has witnessed public scrutiny in
the lack of support for businesses across the UK and the launch of CBF comes
hot on the heels of Business Secretary Vince Cable announcing a new government
initiative to support smaller firms in their quest for finance.
Alan
Jones’ experience on both sides of the banker/client relationship puts CBF in
the privileged position of being able to understand a customer’s real issues,
and draw on experience to identify the best route for financing business
development and growth.
The
company officially launched in March as a member of the National Association of
Commercial Finance Brokers and adhere to the quality standards and Code of
Practice agreed with the Office of Fair Trading.
