SunGift now taking orders for world-leading 320 watt BenQ Solar modules

Panels deliver more power per square meter than any other panel available from a UK distributor

SunGift Trade is now taking orders for highly anticipated BenQ SunForte 320 Watt modules, which generate more power per square meter than any other module available from a UK distributor.

SunGift Trade will have the SunForte panels in stock at its Exeter distribution centre from the beginning of June. At an exceptional 19.6 per cent efficiency, enquiries are already flooding in from installers who would like to get their hands on the modules.

"The arrival of these panels is great news for us and great news for UK solar PV installers," said SunGift Trade's managing director Gabriel Wondrausch. "It's becoming increasingly important for installers to get the maximum output per square metre, particularly on domestic projects where there is very little space. At 320 Watts the new BenQ Solar SunFortes will achieve 320 watts of power from the same space that standard modules would normally achieve around 250 watts. That's more than 25 per cent more yield in the same space."

The arrival of the modules marks another achievement for SunGift Trade who were the first UK distributor to stock Solar Edge optimisers in 2011, the first to launch the BenQ Solar brand into the UK in 2012, and became one of a few UK distribution partners for Trina Solar last month.

"The BenQ Solar brand is still relatively unknown in the UK," added Gabriel. "In fact, you could say they are the UK's best-kept solar PV secret. Our commitment at SunGift Trade is ensure that our customers always have the very latest and highest-quality technologies, so we are extremely excited to be receiving these new 320 watt modules and making them available to UK installers."

Over the past 12 months SunGift has developed a strong relationship with Taiwanese manufacturer BenQ Solar - which has been manufacturing record-breaking SunPower panels for the past two years and is now manufacturing the same panels under its own brand name. Gabriel recently visited BenQ Solar's factory in Taiwan and witnessed what he described as "immaculate" production facilities and extensive quality control measures.

"We'll be working hard to keep up with demand for these exceptional panels," added Gabriel, "so we're suggesting that any installers that are interested in using them should contact us now so that they can discuss their requirements with our distribution staff."

Following the arrival of the first batch at the beginning of June, SunGift will be looking to keep a constant stock of the panels in order to satisfy orders for both domestic and commercial projects.

Companies interested in either using the panels in installations or wishing to attend the training session in Exeter should contact Scott Oldfield at SunGift Trade on 01392 927652 or emailscott@sungifttrade.co.uk.
