McArthurGlen Designer Outlet Ashfordwelcomes Five Guys as part of £90m centre expansion

When it officially opens later this year, the McArthurGlen Designer Outlet's new Food Piazza will be home to Ashford' first Five Guys restaurant, with a host of other new restaurants still to be announced in the coming months. 2019 is an exciting year for McArthurGlen Designer Outlet Ashford as ‘Five Guys' join the centre as part of its £90 million expansion is announced.
The creators of the iconic customisable burgers will tantalise taste buds with over 250,000 possible topping combinations. Whether guests are looking to keep it simple or opt for extravagance, Five Guys is sure to delight visitors as they enjoy fresh, delicious food.
McArthurGlen Designer Outlet Ashford have worked in partnership with Ashford Borough Council to bring such an iconic and modern brand to Ashford. Recognised globally, the announcement that Five Guys will be joining the centre highlights Ashford Borough Council'slong term commitment to delivering the best brands and experiences for residents and visitors alike. The new 4,500 squarefoot restaurant will bring even more job opportunities to the area, as Ashford Borough Council and the Designer Outlet continues to support the local community.
The latest announcement strengthens the existing brands in the Food Piazza with the recent openings of Pret A Manger, YO! and Lost Sheep Coffee. As one of the few branches outside of London, burger favourite Five Guys will open its first branch in Ashford at the Designer Outlet this Autumn.

Like Ashford College, the Elwick Place cinema and leisure complex, and the first phase of the Commercial Quarter, the Designer Outlet expansion is set to play a major part in helping to transform the fortunes of the area."

Once complete in Autumn 2019, McArthurGlen Designer Outlet Ashford's centre expansion will introduce up to 50 new premium and luxury brands, while creating 500 new jobs for Ashford's local community. As well as this, new facilities including a brand new children's adventure playground and 725 additional car parking spaces have already been delivered and are currently being enjoyed by the local community.
