SARH strikes Gold again in health and Safety Awards

Stafford and Rural Homes (SARH) is celebrating after securing a prestigious health and safety accolade for its sustained commitment to the wellbeing of employees, customers and contractors.

The housing association is set to receive a RoSPA President's Award after securing 11 consecutive Gold Medals for its health and safety practices.

The awardsrecognise achievement in health and safety management systems, including practices such as leadership and workforce involvement andare the longest-running of their type in the UK,receiving entries from organisations around the world.

SARH will be presented with the award during a ceremony atExCeL, London later this  month andLisa McCaulder, Health and Safety Consultant at SARH, said it reflects the organisation's commitment to put the wellbeing of employees, customers and contractors at the heart of all its operations.

"The ongoing success in the RoSPA Awards reflects the long-term mission SARH has to create great places to live, work and grow and recognises that SARH is constantly striving to build an even safer working environment," Lisa said.

The majority of awards are non-competitive and mark achievement at merit, bronze, silver and gold levels. Gold medals, president's awards, orders of distinction and the Patron's Award are presented to organisations sustaining the high standards of the gold level over consecutive years.
