Priority Freight continues to enhance its presence within the global logistics market by appointing its first Group Head of Air Freight. Santiago Tejedo steps into this newly created role bringing a wealth of air freight experience with him.
Santiago, who joined Priority Freight in January 2016, leaves his role as General Manager of Priority Freight Madrid to take up the new position stating, "I have some immediate goals to establish a team that will coordinate all of our airport offices and air freight teams as a single international team. Our goal is to quickly provide a unique and standardised air freight performance that demonstrates to our clients a new experience in a very mature market."
Commenting on Santiago's appointment, Priority Freight Group Managing Director, Neal Williams, said, "Santiago will be responsible for the development and improvement of group-wide Standard Operating Procedures, encouraging new partner relationships around the world, developing products and services and supporting locations throughout the group with client and compliance requirements to deliver the fastest, most cost-effective and reliable solutions and a first class service delivery."
Complementing Santiago's appointment and stepping into his previous role as General Manager in Priority Freight Madrid is Gabriel Dopazo. Gabriel has moved from Corporate Business Development at Priority Freight's Head Office, where he worked for over 10 years gaining a wealth of experience across both, operations and sales.
"Our goals and targets are set high at Priority Freight and I aim to continue and exceed the work Santiago has achieved in making the Madrid office a success from both a sales and operations perspective. I am looking forward to beginning this exciting venture." Gabriel said.
Gabriel will commute to Madrid while he looks to relocate and settle in the city.
