DSR Tax Claims Ltd ‘Give for Good' to Local Charity

Tax Preparation Specialists Present Charitable Donation to Charity Specialising in Helping Needy

Continuing the tradition of doing charitable works on Maundy Thursday,DSR Tax Claims Ltdpresented a cheque to staff at Give for Good, a charity founded and based in Derbyshire who specialise in helping those in need across England and  Wales. Managers and employees from the Nottingham-based tax rebate specialist firm presented volunteers at the charity's shop in Ripley, Derbyshire with a cheque for £1,100 and a bouquet of flowers to thank them for all the hard work they do for people facing extreme poverty across the region.

Give for Good founder Wendy Cartledge commented on the donation, stating "We are only a small charity and it is so fulfilling and heart-warming when we receive help like we have today from DSR Tax Claims Ltd because we feel like we are being noticed. We are a small, loving charity and we step in to help people across all sectors of society, supplying their basic needs at a time when they have nothing and support like this is just fantastic". Give for Good was founded 10 years ago by Wendy, working with social services and local authorities to help those in need, including people with disabilities, victims of domestic abuse, children, the elderly and the homeless. Wendy added "We had an elderly man who had been forced to live in a shed over winter by his son - he was rehomed by social services but he had absolutely nothing to his name. Thanks to the people who support our charity, we were able to step in and furnish his new home as well as make sure he had enough gas and electricity to be able to manage. Without all of the fantastic people who support our charity, we wouldn't be able to help those who need help the most".
