New VAT Filing software for RSM 

Leading audit, tax and consulting firmRSM has acquired BTCSoftware's Making Tax Digital (MTD) software solution BTCHub, enabling the firm to support clients with the requirements of Making Tax Digital for VAT which becomes operational on 1 April 2019.

MTD is HMRC's plan to bring the UK's tax system into the 21st century. With only a few exemptions, VAT-registered businesses trading over the VAT threshold of £85,000 will be required to keep records in a digital format, ensure that applications and spreadsheets used to compile VAT returns are digitally linked, and submit their VAT return information to HMRC using MTD compatible software.

RSM's staff across the UK will be using the BTCHub application, ensuring that the firm continues to provide exceptional client service.

RSM chose BTCSoftware following a comprehensive supplier selection process.
