Lhoist employees Walk Again for disability charity!

A team of Lhoist employees from the Whitwell plant set off for an hour's sponsored walk around Creswell Crags, all in aid of the worldwide Marc Herrimans charityTo Walk Again.This charityoffers rehabilitation and revalidation equipment to adults and children with physical disabilities.

All part of a larger corporate challenge from Lhoist entitledMove & Care, employees throughout the world have been invited to count their kilometers when walking, running or cycling.

When employees throughout the international group of Lhoist companies, collectively reach 200,000km Lhoist has promised to make a significant donation to the disability charity,To Walk Again.

‘TheTo Walk Again'foundationis a brilliant charity and deserves our full support. It helpskids and adults with physical disabilities in their rehabilitation process, by keeping them as active as possible,' commented Whitwell PlantManager Adam Taylor.

‘Everyone thoroughly enjoyed doing our bit for this great charity and being good neighbours by carrying out litter-picking duties on the way,'concluded Adam.
