AsInternational Women's Dayarrives once more onMarch 8th 2019we focus on the sisterhood.'The Influential Women podcast'celebrates it's second birthday with the global leading authority on narcissistic abuse as a guest and a line up of female audio stories to binge listen to, created to help others by sharing experiences, and available on iTunes, Apple Podcasts, and Spotify. Last yearwomen had a greater share of voice andthe chance to stand up for what theybelieved in and what they would not tolerate in a truly revolutionary way.  The gender opportunities for gender are still polarised with this years theme ‘Balance for better' but women are now speaking out about what they really feel and ready to discuss difficult and taboo subjects to help others.

 

Our guest to highlight this second birthday edition on our ‘achingly human' podcast is AustralianMelanie Tonia Evans- the global online authority onnarcissistic abusewho herself survived a traumatic relationship that led her to near suicide, a psychotic breakdown and an epiphany to change her own life and to help other women heal and thrive after narcissistic abusive relationships. Ithighlights the silent epidemic of narcissistic abuse within relationships and how this psychological trauma affects numerous women and some men on a global scale.

 

Nicki Bannerman, (Radio newsreader, host presenter,  podcast producer and PR publicist), andJuliette Nicholls(Award-winning radio imaging producer) collaborated to co-create and co-found this podcast series with the aim to seek out powerful stories with inspiring women and to share them on audio.

 

Guests range from celebrities such asJudy MurrayOBEtonovelists and screenwriters such asDeborah Moggachof ‘The Exotic Marigold Hotel' to people who havemadea difference in their own lives such as Vicky Jones. All women have hadlife lessons and share their mantras and journeys and who influenced them personally. They give listeners perspective to be inspired and motivated in their day or commute. The podcast launched on International Women's Day, the 8th ofMarch 2017 at London's 'Women of the World Festival'.

One year later,it proudly hosted Jude Kelly OBE, Founder of the Festival as it's honoraryfirst birthday guest.pasted-image.tifNicki andJuliettebring their own skills, diversity and experiences to the project. Nicki Bannerman is a podcast and radio presenterandco-producer, and produced for the BBC charity 'Sound Women' andthe Radio Academyand is a publicist PR and marketer. Juliette Nicholls is anaward-winning Audio Producer for the Heart Network at Global and her podcast production company, Pineapple Audio Production andwasnamed in the Radio Academy's 30-under-30 awards. They teamed up to createtheconcept, brand and guest list.Itis now released fortnightly.
