Strengthening global relationships at World Cargo Alliance

Strengthening global relationships is a priority for leading logistics specialist at World Cargo Alliance

13 February 2019

Priority Freight, one of Europe's leading logistics and freight specialists, will be exhibiting at the 11th Annual Worldwide Conference of the WCA at the Suntec Singapore International Convention and Exhibition Centre between the 18th and 22nd February 2019.

The European time-critical logistics specialist will meet with other industry professionals, gathering for a week of accelerated face-to-face meetings with agents from around the world.

The World Cargo Alliance (WCA) is the world's largest and most powerful network of independent freight forwarding companies with exceptionally high membership criteria. Less than a third of all applicants achieve membership to the WCA and it is a testament to Priority Freight's professionalism that it meets the standards set by the organisation, adding levels of increased confidence to its clients. The conference is an essential meeting for all WCA members seeking to reach new markets and raise company awareness on a global scale.

"This is one of the most important trade events of the year for anyone in logistics. WCA is a worldwide platform to industry leaders looking for expedited freight and logistics solutions. The conference is a productive way for logistics providers to expand company visibility, reach new markets and raise awareness on a global scale. This event is just one month away from the UK's exit from the EU and we know many companies will need the surety of trusted experts to deliver, no matter what the outcome," said Gareth Williams, Group Commercial Director from Priority Freight.

Priority Freight has also focused on gaining Authorised Economic Operator (AEO) status throughout their global business operations to increase its ability to keep goods flowing in and out of Europe post Brexit. Companies with the AEO status have customs clearance and logistics operations which have been granted a security certificate by Customs and is entitled to various benefits across the EU which smooth the passage of goods for a frictionless experience.

Gareth went on to say, "We offer time-critical logistics solutions for our clients and the WCA event will enable us to continue to build European relationships with our logistics partners, ensuring we continue to provide the fastest, most cost-effective and reliable solutions."

Gareth Williams (Group Commercial Director) and Santiago Tejedo (General Manager, Madrid) will be attending the conference.
